Par Privacy Policy

Par is made by Sawir Studio LLC. This policy explains what the app does with your information.

What the app collects

Nothing. Par has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it doesn't send any information to Sawir Studio or any third party. The only thing that leaves your device is your history, synced through your own iCloud account as described below.

What stays on your device

So that your work is there when you come back, Par keeps the following on your device:

• The stack, the financial and storage registers, and the program in memory
• Your calculation history
• Your settings, such as the display format, the date format, payments at the beginning and decimal comma

Your device's own backups, such as iCloud Backup, may include this information. Apple's privacy policy covers those backups.

iCloud sync

If you're signed in to iCloud, your calculation history is kept in your own private iCloud database so it appears on your other devices. Only you can read that database; Sawir Studio can't see it. The stack, registers, program and settings stay on each device. To stop syncing, turn off iCloud for Par in Settings › [your name] › iCloud.

Siri and Shortcuts

When you run a Par action from Siri or Shortcuts, the numbers you give it are calculated on your device. If you speak to Siri, Apple handles your request under its own privacy policy.

Deleting your information

Clear All Memory in the app's Help menu, under Settings, erases the registers and program. You can delete history entries in History, which also deletes them from iCloud and your other devices. Deleting the app removes everything it stored on that device.

Children

The app doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new date.
